Welcome to 2017!

LONDON MYTHS, MELODRAMA and MORE

Fortunately, some things just keep going and one of them is our Salon for the City - incredibly now in its 5th year. Join us and a select band of other London lovers each month in the wonderful Westminster Arts Library (thank you so much for all who signed our petition to keep it flourishing).

Admission includes a serving of that most London of liquors, gin, courtesy of our friends HENDRICKS but be quick, tickets always sell out. We begin again on January 26th - see below.

And this year we will host more unique, magical bespoke London events for you including London Month of the Dead and Fringe Science with our friends A Curious Invitation and we will finally release a new The Real Tuesday Weld album. Hurrah!

It is a year this weekend since David Bowie died. We miss him. HERE is Bowie curator Geoff Marsh telling the story of his London life at our 32 Londoners event

SALON NO. 42: LONDON MYTHS, LONDON MONSTERS
Museum of London curator emeritus John
Clark joins us to tell of London's extraordinary mythical beginnings and author whilst 'monster hunter' Kit Cox leads us on a safari hunt of some of the capital's fabulous creatures.

For February’s SALON NO. 43: LONDON MELODRAMA AND MURDER we have a very special evening with the actress and writer Julie Balloo who will evoke the life and strange London death of the Victorian stage star William Terriss. Expect melodrama in the second half.

And in March at SALON NO. 44: LONDON'S UNNATURAL HISTORY, Guardian cartoonist Martin Rowson returns with with peculiar stories of London Zoo.
Martin is a brilliant speaker, if you’'d like some new year listening, HERE he is speaking on WILLIAM HOGARTH at our 32Londoners event. He will be joined by Dr Simon Werret who will explore the  incredible like of naturalist Joseph Banks via cartoons.

In 2017, we will be releasing the new The Real Tuesday Weld album - a massive, sprawling creature and X-Ray Audio continues it’s march across the world with exhibitions, in Trieste, Berlin and Moscow.

There will be another London Month of the Dead and events on Sex and Fringe Science, though not at the same time, with our friends A Curious Invitation

More soon!
